"Second , milo doesn't even do half of eyepet features .."
eyepet doesn't do a lot of milo features either o.O
for better reasons than you are.
Seriously, the guy can't even talk anymore? He doesn't even say anything controversial anymore. People just give him crap for no reason. His claim to fame is releasing some of the best games in the last 2 decades. Your claim to fame is having 1 bubble on a video game news site.
" capable of converting image to raw data instantly"
the image is raw data. If you convert it, it is no longer raw data, but derived data.
" The industry makes the vast majorit of it's money from sequels and annual update games"
do you have a source for that? I'm fairly certain the industry makes most of it's money off casual games now. It makes less per game, but casual games make a lot more money total.
looking at development time, a casual family game night game can be made in 2-4 months and sold for $15-30. Some companies are releasing between 6 and 20 casual games a ye...
it's a ludicrously large data storage medium.
"The driving mechanics in Reach likely won't compete with those found in GT5 so I may end up avoiding this Halo"
What? I can't even fathom how you'd be able to utter that statement. They are probably the two least comparable games ever.
That's the problem. It wouldn't be balanced at all. Either that or they'd have to completely gimp brutes/hunters.
The system doesn't work with the dead lens. What does it matter which part of it is broken. Both errors resulted in an unusable console.
Limbo has music, it's just quiet.
And if you think it's bad, you just haven't played it. One of the best indy games atm.
Reach is the first human colonized planet in the Halo universe. It should look like earth for the same reason you said.
Did they change the title?
The title as is, "Naughty Dog Founder: Triple-A games 'not working'" is not misleading unless you are easily misled or fabricating things in your own mind.
He was a co-founder of Naughty Dog, and he said those things. Nothing about the title is non-factual.
Read your "articles" before you post them. Self editing can save you a lot of trouble like this, as I'm sure you would have caught more of these errors.
It also couldn't hurt to have another eye to read it before you too.
I know a lot more people excited for Diablo 3 than GT5. In fact, I only know 2 or 3 people excited for GT5.
Anecdotal evidence is stupid, because if you are a PS3 gamer you probably know tons of people waiting for GT5. Most of my friends are PC gamers, and couldn't give two piles of poo about GT5. Does that mean that nobody wants GT5? no.
It's really going to be hilarious when GT5 comes out and sells worse than halo. GT3 had a 100+million install base to sell to and sold 14 million (around 15% of the users bought it depending what number you actually use for the install base). Halo 3 sold 11 million to 40 million 360s. That's selling to 25% of the current user base.
Sure GT5 will sell well, but it's just not going to blow sales records. The only Gran Turismo to sell more than Halo 3 is 2 iterations...
it's already announced.
Every day I am more and more surprised at how few people actually read and comprehend the articles posted.
Okama makes the gamesphere
cuz there's only one pedophile in the world on just one service...
Odds are it's probably happening every day on both systems. It's sick, but parents have to keep a better eye on their kids. There's a reason they put parental controls on the devices and there's a reason the online experience isn't rated by the ESRB.
I'm assuming PSN has the same friends-only communication settings that XBL does, so it's not like it's the sy...
Did I read the same article? Where is he whining?
“I personally feel much more comfortable now we’re lower profile. It’s better to be the underdog so you can surpass expectations. I think all the hype surrounding PlayStation 3 wasn’t particularly enjoyable for us, and the other reason I like to underplay things is that – despite what anybody says – on a creative project, you just never know if it’s gonna work until it all comes together right at the very end.”
I think it could be used for something interesting like a game where you have to interview suspects/witnesses for crimes or something.
It's kind of hard because no games in the past have really focussed on the personal connection between the player and the characters on such a level, so there isn't really any existing evidence for what it can be used for.
